CFAR Tuesday Net Preamble
QST QST QST
Calling the Tuesday evening Coolidge Florence Amateur Radio net.
This is a directed net. Your net control station is [name], my call is [callsign] and I am located in [city]. This net meets every Tuesday evening at 19:00 hours on the Sacaton 447.725 repeater which uses a 100.0 hertz PL. The timeout timer is enabled on this repeater, so please keep your transmissions brief or pause to allow the repeater to drop to reset the timeout timer.
This net is open to all licensed operators. CFAR meets the second Saturday of every month at the Viney Jones Florence Library at 10am. We do not collect dues and you don't need a license to attend. VE testing is offered on odd months and online testing is available by request — contact cfarhams@gmail.com. Find us at cfaraz.com for our website, Facebook, Discord, and Forums.
Emergency traffic may break in anytime during the net. At this time, I will pause for any emergency traffic; emergency traffic please call [callsign].
Are there any announcements for the net, please call [callsign].
"Check-ins will be called by suffix — the first letter after the number in your callsign. Please give your callsign phonetically and slowly, followed by your name. If you have traffic, announcements, or questions, advise net control during check-in. If your callsign is not acknowledged, please try again.

Remember the COPAHAMS club. They operate their net on this same repeater on Monday evenings at 19:00 hours, as well as hold monthly meetings alternating between Casa Grange and Maricopa. Are there any further announcements or inquiries for the net, please call [callsign]?
Hearing none, we will close this net and would like to thank everyone for their participation. We also extend our thanks and appreciation to the owners and trustees of the Sacaton Repeater for the use of their repeater. Please join us again next Tuesday at 19:00 hours local time.
This is [callsign], closing this net at [local time] and returning this repeater to normal use.
